When it comes to whisky, we are the best connected House you could possibly stay in. And throughout the year we host a number of very special Whisky Tasting Weekends. We can’t think of anything better than a whole weekend dedicated to drams, and whatever level of whisky enthusiast you are, you will definitely leave with some new favourites.

Here is what you can enjoy during one of our event weekends:

A two-night stay at Glenmorangie House
A tour of the world-famous Glenmorangie Distillery
The opportunity to sample blends and malts from our range of whiskies
Expert guidance on how to taste whisky

Example Itinerary

Friday

Arrive for afternoon tea in the Morning Room
Sensory Session – discover how aromas and flavours can awaken your senses
Evening pre-dinner drinks and canapés. This is an opportunity to sample a delicious whisky serve (whisky with a twist), followed by a heavenly 3 course dinner

Saturday

Breakfast
Visit Tarlogie Springs to sample the source of our mineral rich water.
Depart for your tour of Glenmorangie Distillery
Visit to the Pictish stone at Cadboll, the inspiration behind the emblem on each bottle of Glenmorangie. Sample a dram of Glenmorangie Original to keep out the cold and toast the Picts (very much weather dependant!)
Lunch back at Glenmorangie House
Clay pigeon shoot followed by afternoon tea
Blind tasting (to make sure you've paid attention on your tour)
Signet tasting – a unique way to use all your senses to experience the chocolatey/ orange notes of Signet – the richest whisky in our range
Evening - pre-dinner drinks and canapés, followed by a grand Gala Scottish Dinner with live ceilidh music in the Buffalo Room.

Sunday

Breakfast and depart.
